What are the Health Risks of being an Airline Pilot?

Are we actually aware of all these risks?

If we knew what damage we are doing it may not be worth it!

After reading about another tread about Airborne radiation in relation to JPN.
It mentions a CX Capt taking his own monitor on flights and having discovered & studied its ill effects resigned.

This prompted me to start doing my own research.
I'm finding it very shocking indeed.
Esp if you consider most Pilots in CX are now joining in there 20's and plan on working to 65. Ie 45 years & doing mostly ULH. Most of you will have some major health problems before 65 and will certainly not have a healthy retirement.

There are so many bad things we are exposed to.
EMF & Solar radiation, Dehydration, Ozone poisoning, Pressure changes,
Sleep problems, exposure to huge stress & alcohol problems.
Less Schumann Resonance at Altitude results in less "organ& glandular rhythms in the human body",hypobaric hypoxia ,Equatorial Crossing
Auric bleedling - very interesting new subject & unknown to most!

The list goes on..

Anyway the question is : Has major research been done in this area?
If so what are the results? Are they public?

Can all airline unions not team up and employ some independent medical experts to study the long term effects and result in us getting better rostering & more days off & longer Leave in a row etc.. Sabbaticals etc.

We need to do something to better protect your health.
Lets take a stand together!
