New Delhi: Trouble seems to be mounting for former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda, an accused in the former airhostess Geetika Sharma suicide case. Nupur Mehta, Bollywood starlet and a vital link in the case has made some sensational revelations to the police during interrogation. She has accused Kanda’s close aide Aruna Chaddha of brain washing the women employees of MDLR airlines.
Moreover, a case of cheque bounce has also been registered against Kanda and his brother. Kanda has been evading summon to appear in court in this case.
Making further revelations, Nupur Said that Geetika was merely 17 years when she joined MDLR. Nupur had rejected Geetika’s application on the pretext that she was a minor. However, Kanda who was seeing the CCTV footage of the interview asked Nupur to recruit Geetika.
Nupur was interrogated for three hours by the Delhi police in a hotel in Mumbai. A woman constable was also present during the interrogation and is believed to have recorded Nupur’s statement. Though nothing has officially been revealed about the interrogation, it is believed that the police questioned Geetika about the relation between Kanda, Aruna Chaddha and Ankita.
